Jordan - Lounging

Jordan - Lounging

Flashing it back to April 14, 2023 for this elegant lounging lifestyle shoot with Jordan. I wanted to create a distinct, separated look using a cool background tone on the grey canvas.

Here's the setup:

  • Separation/Background: Godox AD200 with a 7-inch reflector, blue gel, and barndoors.

  • Key Light: Godox AD600 on a 25-inch Glow beauty dish.

I shot this on my Canon EOS R with the sharp RF50mm f/1.8 lens. Camera Settings: f/2.8, 1/200 sec, ISO 100.

Madeline - Kick Off Week

Madeline - Kick Off Week

"I had an impromptu shoot with Madeline on August 26th. While the plan was to use the rain machine, we started indoors to celebrate the NFL season with some football-themed shots. We went for two distinct looks: a low-key and a high-key set.

For the low-key setup, I used a Godox AD600 with a 42-inch Glow beauty dish for the key light. A Godox AD200 with a 25-inch beauty dish provided lower fill, and two Godox MS300Vs with 3-foot strip boxes created visible backlights.

The high-key images were lit with two Godox SK400s and 48-inch strip boxes, while a Godox DP400III-V with a 7-inch octagon softbox served as the key light.

All images were captured with a Canon R5.

Camera Settings:

  • Low Key: RF24-105mm F4 L lens at f/9, 1/125 sec, ISO 100

  • High Key: RF70-200mm F2.8 L lens at f/9, 1/100 sec, ISO 100"

Shelby - Harley Quinn Danger

Shelby - Harley Quinn Danger

I’m a comic book geek so anytime I have the opportunity to capture comic book cosplay I’m quick to answer the call. On August 5th a day before the new Suicide Squad movie came out, Shelby and I got together to create this cool rendition of Harley Quinn. She made a great Harley, it was like the character was made for her personality. It took me a little minute to create the chaos set but I believe it was well worth it. Lighting for the venture was a couple of GVM led lights, one with a 42 in Octagonal soft box for the key light, front and the other with a Godox projector attachment shooting a window shadow on the scene. 2 GVM RGB lights and smoke were also used to pop a few different colors onto the scene. My camera of choice was my Canon R mirrorless camera with my Canon 85mm EF lens and adapter.

Rebecca - Tank Top

On March 31st Rebecca and I got together at the studio and created these casual boudoir images. She may have small breast but know one can say she’s not sexy. For this set I used my Canon EOS R with my Sigma Art 35mm lens. Lighting was provided by my Flashpoint AD200 with a 42 inch Octobox softbox. My setting were f/4, 1/100 sec and ISO 100.
