Ayla - Beauty Shots
This set of images were created May 29th at HTX Studio 409. I couldn’t wait to capture beauty shots of this little beauty. Beautiful facial features, long silky hair and damn near flawless skin, super easy edits. The lighting set up for this set was a Godox SK400II with a Octagon softbox. The background was a 7 foot parabolic umbrella.
Kirstyn - White -Beach
On June 12th 2020, my muse (Kirstyn), and I headed down to Galveston beach to capture these great images. We shot these underneath Pleasure Pier. My Canon EOS R was my camera of choice using a Canon 24-105mm lens. The evening sun lit up these images.
Jeska - Pink - Throwback
In 2012 I was doing a lot of photography travel. On June 12th, I was in San Angelo, Texas were I met up with Jeska for a fun shoot at her studio. As you can see, she’s a beautiful red head and she’s also a very nice person.
Leila - Jeans
This was the first set I shot with Leila on the 22nd of May 2020. Nice and simple images but very nice. I used my Canon EOS R with my 35mm 1.4 Sigma lens. I lit her up with 2 Godox SK400II studio strobes with 14x63in strip boxes with egg crates to control the light directions.
Carol - Polka Dots - Flashback
This Flashback of Carol is from October 6th 2018. We got together at HTX Studio 409 to capture these great pinup images. Carol has a wonderful personality and is a great model.
Anyheles - Beach
These images of the beautiful Anyheles were taken below Pleasure Pier in Galveston on June 13th 2020. My camera of choice was my Canon EOS R mirrorless with a Canon 24-105mm lens. I lit Anyheles up with my Flashpoint AD200 and my assistant, (Leroy) held the back light (a Godox TT600) for us. Patricia Fonseca join us to do the make up for us.
Rebecca - Sucker Punch
Amanda - Raincoat
This set of Amanda was taken March 23rd 2020 at HTX studio 409. This set was published in the June edition of Kultur Magazine. I changed the background and added rain to all of these images. I hate doing composite images because of the time involved but these were well worth the time. The set up for this images were 3 Godox SK400II. 1 overhead with a 33in octagon softbox angling down at her and 2 with 14x63in strip boxes angling in toward the back of Amanda at 45 degrees from both sides for rim lights.
Liz - Rainbow Swimwear
The date was July 5th 2020, a nearly 100 degree day. This was my first time shooting with this sexy blonde. Liz was a great subject. We spent half the shoot in a hot ass garage in League City but she delivered some great images. In the garage I used a 7ft parabolic umbrella on a Godox SK400II strobe. At the shop I used natural light. My Camera of choice was my Canon EOS R mirrorless.
Ayla - Midtown Park
Is it just me or is this model outrageously gorgeous? Ayla and I decided to head to Midtown Park for these image. The date was May 30th 2020. Ayla is very easy to shoot with, every image was a great image. I used both my Canon 7D and my EOS R mirrorless to capture these images. The lenses used were the Sigma 35mm and the Canon 24-105mm. The lighting for this set was a Godox SK400II with a 36in Octagon modifier, powered by a Vagabond Mini.
Madelyn - Mask
Here’s another set of Madelyn taken on June 3rd of this year. This is a set for my Masked Series. Her beauty made her a perfect subject for this series. The images looked great in black and white as well as full color. I added some gels to spice up the set a little bit. I used my Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with a 35mm f1.4 Sigma lens for this set. Lighting for this set was a Godox SK400II with a 33” Octagon softbox, and a Flashpoint AD200 with a blue gel. A 67” x 24” clamshell reflector was used to light her under her chin.
Lidia - Bike
Earlier this year, February 1st 2020, Lidia and I got together outside my studio, in front of the Compass BBVA stadium with one of my friends bike. It didn’t take long to get these great shots.
Rebecca - School Girl
This set of images is the beginning of one of my favorite sets this year. Rebecca & I shot the school girl images first for social media then followed it up with a Babydoll cosplay set, (from the movie Sucker Punch), for publication. I’ll post that set in a couple of weeks. We shot these images April 5th at HTX studio 409. Camera of choice was my Canon 7D with 35mm 1.4 Sigma prime lens. Lighting used was a Godox SK400II with a 60” Octagon softbox as the main light and 2 Godox SK400II studio strobe with a 14x63in stripbox to light the white background.
Kirstyn - Pool
These images of the beautiful Kirstyn were taking May 11th, 2020.. We took it out at ShadowStreet Studio in Magnolia TX. This is the first set of the 2 sets in the pool. As usual Kirstyn created some great images. The lighting for this set was a Godox SK400II with a 36in Octagon modifier. This was my first shoot with my Canon mirrorless camera, (R).
Sophia - Hot in Htown - Throwback
The year was 2010, the date October 10th, Sophia and I took these images in my home studio, (Studio24B). I remember always having fun shooting with this German and her buddy Ana. Notice the overexposure. I was still getting use to my 1st DSLR camera and new lighting.
Wendi - Rings
I took this set of Wendi on March 26th at HTX Studio 409. I used my Canon 7D with my 35mm 1.4 prime lens. I lit her up with a Godox SK400II with a 31in octabox and a red gel on a Godox TT600 speed light. It’s always a pleasure working with Wendi.
Sarah - Mic’d
These sets of Sarah were taken on April 18th 2020 at HTX Studio 409. She actually song a couple songs during the low key set. She has a great voice. In the low key set I used 5 lights, a pair of Flashpoint 320M studio strobes, a pair of Godox TT600 speedlites, (all using barndoor modifiers with gels), and a Godox SK400II studio strobe with a 14x63in stripbox as the main light. I also added a lil smoke to the atmosphere. My camera of choice was my Canon 7D with my trusty 35mm 1.4 Sigma prime lens.
Tereza - Red Satin
This set was taken April 17th 2020 at HTX Studio 409. Tereza is wearing one of her lingerie sets from her Fine Feline collection. I love working with Tereza weather it’s with her in front of the camera or if it’s supplying her beautiful outfits.
Liela - Pink Bodysuit
Leila and I put this set together on the 22nd of May 2020. When planning the shoot she just said she wanted to use my fashion wall and this is the images we produced. The camera of choice for this shoot was my Canon EOS R with a 35mm 1.4 Sigma lens and one Godox SK400II.
Kim - 4th Mask
Kim and I got together on the 25th of June to capture some patriotic images for Independence Day. As usual Kim was hilarious to work with. It was an over casted evening so I used it as a natural diffuser to light her up. I used my Canon EOS R with a 35mm 1.4 Sigma lens.
