Rachel - Roses
Rachel stopped by the studio on March 17th to capture some glamorous images with roses. Needless to say we succeeded. I love it when Rachel comes through we always create some awesome images. To create these images one Godox SK400II studio strobes, with a 60” Octobox was used positioned directly above her. I used my Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with my 35MM Sigma Art lens, set at ISO 100, 1/125 sec, f5.
Ayla - Downtown pt2
This is part 2 of the 3 part series of images taken on December 18th 2020, with Ayla downtown. We shot in four different locations this is the second location, off of Main street near the Rice Lofts. Most of these images were taken at ISO 320, f1.8 at 1/60 of a sec.
Chloe - Monochrome
On March 5th 2021, Chloe came by HTX Mulberry Studio and we captured these very nice images in the natural light room. It was late so I used my Flashpoint AD200 to light her up with a 42 in Octagonal softbox. She was very photogenic and a joy to work with. My camera of choice was my Canon EOS R, mirrorless camera with the 35mm 1.4 Sigma Art lens. Settings: 35mm - ISO 200 - f1.4 - 1/500 sec. I actually had an ND4 filter on my lens that I forgot to change out.

Squid Vicious - Monochrome
This was one of the final shoots at HTX Studio 409. I took these images on October 3rd 2020. From the jump, Squid Vicious and I had great shoot chemistry. Before I could mention to her how I’d like her to move she would do it just like I imaged. Honestly it was a little weird but great at the same time. For this set I lit her up with 3 Godox SK400II. The main light used a 32” octagon soft box and then the other two were behind her on both sides with red gels on both to light up the smoke. Camera used was my Canon EOS R.
Shelly - Black on Red
I photographed this beautiful Indian, (Shelly) on the 31st of July at HTX Studio 409. This was the 1st of the 3 sets we shot that day. It’s always easy to capture her beauty and incredible curves. Jenny - Brickwall
On the 27th of December I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful young lady with and infectious smile. I had a lot of fun capturing Jenny next to our brick wall at HTX Mulberry Studio. Lighting for this setup was a Godox SK400II with a 38” deep parabolic octagon softbox with a eggcrate grid, and a 8”x36” softbox with grid, high above to mimic a street light.
Brie - Low Key
These images of the incredibly fit model Brie were taken on December 10th 2020 at HTX Mulberry Studio. Ayla - Mask
Sorry, I thought I posted this set months ago. This set of images were taken May 29th at HTX Studio 409. What do I do when I get beautiful facial features, long silky hair and damn near flawless skin? I cover it with a black lace mask. I knew Ayla would be a perfect candidate for my mask series. She’s very glamorous and captivating. For this lighting set up, a Godox SK400II with a 33” Octagon softbox was used with a 67” x 24” clamshell reflector to light her under her chin.
Kirstyn - Lil Black Dress Night
1 model, 1 photographer, 1 blk dress, 1 Canon EOS R, 1 Flashpoint AD200, 1 26 inch octagon softbox and 4 location = 50 great night images. On August 1st 2020, Kirstyn and I was hanging out getting some more custom mask and we saw this cute lil black dress we thought she would look good in with her spec. A couple of hours later we were on the north side of downtown capturing these beautiful images.
Angela - Yoga
Since it’s Monday, I thought it would be a great day to post these monochrome images of Angela. A funsized model, photographer and business woman. She’s a delightful individual to be around. This shoot went great. She knocked all 3 sets that we did that day, (September 9th 2020 at HTX Studio 409), out the box. Lighting for this set was 2 Godox SK400II studio strobes with 14x63in stripboxes, both were angled toward her, one in a little in front and the other slightly behind her on the opposite side.
Kirstyn - Downtown 1
On July 9th 2020, my muse and I got together and went Downtown for a few. We stopped by a few spots and caught some great images. These were taken near Minute Maid Park during the blue hour. Amanda - Raincoat
This set of Amanda was taken March 23rd 2020 at HTX studio 409. This set was published in the June edition of Kultur Magazine. I changed the background and added rain to all of these images. The set up for this images were 3 Godox SK400II. 1 overhead with a 33in octagon softbox angling down at her and 2 with 14x63in strip boxes angling in toward the back of Amanda at 45 degrees from both sides for rim lights.

Here’s another set of Madelyn taken on June 3rd of this year. This is a set for my Masked Series. Her beauty made her a perfect subject for this series. We followed it up the next day with a shoot outside at the park and museum, which will be posted soon. The lighting set up for this set was a Godox SK400II with no modifier to the camera right of the blinds.
Amanda - Dance Dress
This set of Amanda was taking at HTX Studio 409 on March 23rd this 2020. As usual with Amanda this was a great set. She did her hair and makeup and we got plenty of images to work with. The low key atmosphere gave us a nice moody vibe. The set up for this images were 2 Godox SK400II with 14x63in stripboxes on each angling in toward Amanda at 45 degrees from both sides. Gels were added later in the shoot just to add a little oomph to the images. (50 images)
