Desanti - Red & Black
On July 31st 2020 at HTX Studio 409, I had the pleasure of shooting with the funsized model and YouTube personality Desanti. She’s a very fun person to work with and she produces some great images. The lighting set up for this shoot was a Godox SK400II with a 60” Octagon softbox as the main light and 2 Godox SK400II studio strobe with 14x63in stripboxes to provide a lil back light on her. All lights were set to minimum power for this set.
Ayla - Before the Storm
These images of the beautiful Ayla was taken on September 5th 2020 out near Kehma Board Walk. We shot two other set’s before this one but we kind of had to rush this because a storm was coming in. The wind from the storm actually had her hair blowing gracefully but I was a little afraid it would blow her off this little cliff we were near. Lighting for this set was an Flashpoint AD200 with a 32” octagon softbox. My camera of choice was my Canon EOS R with a 24-105 lens.
Squid Vicious - Fishnet & Satin
On October 3rd I got together with this beautiful tattooed model and created some beautiful and sexy images. For our first time working together we meshed great together. It felt like she was reading my mind midway thru the first set. My camera was my Canon EOS R using my Sigma 35mm lens. My light source was a Godox SK400II studio strobes with a 60” Octagon softbox .
Rebecca - Haute Fashion
This fashion shoot of Rebecca was taken on August 17th 2020, for the brand Haute Fashion Shop. As usual Rebecca showed up and slayed the shoot. I used my Canon R with my 35mm 1.4 Sigma Art prime lens to capture Rebecca. The lighting set up for this set was a Godox SK400II with a 60” Octagon softbox as the main light and 2 Godox SK400II studio strobe with 14x63in stripboxes to light the white background.
Angela - Yoga
Since it’s Monday, I thought it would be a great day to post these monochrome images of Angela. A funsized model, photographer and business woman. She’s a delightful individual to be around. This shoot went great. She knocked all 3 sets that we did that day, (September 9th 2020 at HTX Studio 409), out the box. Lighting for this set was 2 Godox SK400II studio strobes with 14x63in stripboxes, both were angled toward her, one in a little in front and the other slightly behind her on the opposite side.
Shelly - Purple Lingerie
I shot this set of the exotic beauty Shelly on July 31st 2020 at HTX Studio 409. She looked so nice in this purple lingerie that I had to use two different lighting set ups. The first set up was a Godox SK400II studio strobe with a 14x63in stripbox along with a Godox SK300II with a blue gel in a barn door. For the second set I just used a Godox SK400II with my 60” Octagon softbox as the main light. My camera of choice was my Canon R with my 35mm 1.4 Sigma lens.
Heather - Supergirl
This Flashback post comes from a year ago October 18th 2019, when Heather and I got together for a Supergirl themed shoot. We did a few sets, a full costume, a button up shirt with boy shorts, a jean set and a short skirt set. All in the Supergirl colors. This was a pretty fun shoot and Heather knocked it out the box. I also added a little composites to the shoot to bring out the costume more.
Sam - Astros
I love shooting with this funsized blonde beauty. I’ve worked with Samantha a few times during the past three years and everyone time we finish a shoot I fell like a happier person. She has one of the best personalities I’ve every been around and I haven’t even mention how beautiful and sexy she is. This set was taken on August 6th 2020, because she knew even with all the controversy surrounding the Astros, they would make the playoffs and still do well in the playoff. My camera of choice was my Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with a 35mm f1.4 Sigma lens. Two Godox SK400II studio strobe with 14x63in strip boxes were used to light Samantha up for these images.
Joanna - Stripes
Joanna lives in Dallas now so we had to catch up on August 2nd when she was in Houston for the weekend. As usual Joanna did not disappoint. We got some great sets in and she made these stripes pop. Lighting for this set was 2 Godox SK400II studio strobe with 14x63in stripboxes. One in front to her right and the other behind her to her left.
Ayla - White Paints Suit
Today is this beautiful goddess’ birthday so of course it would be fitting to post one of our latest sets together. This set of Ayla was taken on September 5th 2020 at the Kemah marina in a little gazebo. As usual she delivered some great images. Her beauty and her ability to deliver great poses makes her a joy to work with.
Kirstyn - Downtown 1
On July 9th 2020, my muse and I got together and went Downtown for a few. We stopped by a few spots and caught some great images. These were taken near Minute Maid Park during the blue hour. I used my Canon R to capture these images of Kirstyn and my Flashpoint AD200 with a 22in Beauty dish to light her up. The second set will be posted soon.
Morgan - Lounging
This set with Morgan was taken on April 25th 2020 @ HTX Studio 409. The theme was just lounging in the bedroom. In this set she wearing socks from her Morgainz Collection. The lighting for this set was One Godox SK400II with a 70in octagon softbox, set a pretty low power there was also a light bulb flash was added to the lamp to make the lamp appear to be on.
Liz - Lamborghini
Here’s another set from the shoot I was called out to League City to capture images of a collection of cars and a custom bike by Tim E. The Owner of this Lambo was a guy named Dave. The model was Liz and the date was July 5th. This set was shot at the second location of the day, a custom auto shop. Lighting for this set was my Flashpoint AD200 with just the Fresnel flash head.
Heather - Boudoir - Flashback
This set of Heather was done just over a year ago, August 23rd, 2019, at HTX Studio 409. These sweet and sexy images came out just right. Perfect girl next door theme. The lighting for this set was a single Godox SK400II with a 60” Octagon softbox.
Alix - Calvin Klein - Flashback
These Flashback images of Alix was shot July 27th of 2018 at HTX Studio 409. I shot with her a few days earlier for a swimsuit calendar and even though they were some pretty good images, I could see she hadn’t given me her all. I asked her to come by the studio to see what we could put together and it was well worth it. The images we created eventually led to her getting picked for the cover of that calendar. I’ll post those in a future flashback.
Mindy - Blk 2 Piece - Throwback
This set was taken back in the beginning of 2015 at Studio 409. The date was February 9th, the model was the Asian and Caucasian mixed beauty Mindy. This was the only time I was able to shoot with her before she moved from Houston. She a model I’d love to work with if she returns.
Rebecca - Porsche
Rebecca and I was called out to League City on July 5th 2020 to capture some images with a collection of cars and a custom bike by Tim E. The Owner of this Porsche was a guy named Dave. This set was shot at the second location, a custom auto shop and we were finally relieved from the sun on these. As usual great shots from Rebecca. Lighting for this set was my Flashpoint AD200 with just the Fresnel flash head.
Madelyn - Pretty in Pink
Here’s yet another set of Madelyn taken on June 3rd of this year. This set was actually for my Multi-Image Series but there were so many images that barely needed any editing that I just kept going. I used my Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with a 35mm f1.4 Sigma lens for this set. Lighting for this set was my typical high key set up, a Godox SK400II with a 60” Octagon softbox as the main light and 2 Godox SK400II studio strobe with 14x63in stripboxes to light the white background.
Shelly - Red
This set of the beautiful Shelly was taken on July 31st 2020 at HTX Studio 409. This exotic beauty is always a joy to shoot. For this set I lit it up with a Godox SK400II with a 60” Octagon softbox as the main light and 2 Godox SK400II studio strobe with 14x63in stripboxes to light the white background. My camera of choice was my Canon R with my 35mm 1.4 Sigma Art prime lens.
Desanti - Bedroom Corset
This set of the beautiful fun sized Desanti was shot on the 31st of July in HTX Studio 409. She’s a fun little model with a great personality. I shot with her a week earlier but this was our first time working together on a one on one basis. I believe we created some great images. These images were captured with my Canon EOS R using my Sigma 35mm lens. My light source was a Godox SK400II studio strobes with a 60” Octagon softbox .
